Foster Malmed, D.C.

Dr. Foster Malmed received his Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Syracuse University in 1979.  After a Chiropractor in Hazlet, N.J. helped rid him of his multiple sports injuries that he incurred on his way to becoming N.J. State All-Around Gymnastics Champion, he chose to attend Chiropractic school.  After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1983, he was trained and mentored by a Chiropractor and Applied Kinesiologist with 50 years of knowledge and experience.  Dr. Malmed has now been a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Kinesiologist for 40 years.

Dr. Malmed was the sole Chiropractor in a New York hospital for many years, a dream goal that he achieved after 27 years in practice.  Presently, Dr. Malmed has an office in Patterson, New York while also working in multiple New York City locations as part of Fitlore, LLC, www.Fitlore.com, New York City’s premier amenity company, working as a Chiropractor-Kinesiologist in some of the Big Apple’s most iconic buildings.

Dr. Malmed is the chiropractor on the Wellness Team for the International Tax Team at NYC based DLA Piper Law Firm, (https://www.dlapiper.com/en-us) providing Chiropractic-Kinesiology services to economists, attorneys and staff on a monthly basis.

Dr. Malmed is also the Chiropractic consultant for Ace Endico Corporation (https://www.aceendico.com/) a regional food distributor with 600 employees.  Dr. Malmed is responsible for providing corrective adjustments and recommendations to get employees back to work as soon as is feasible, with the goal of improving both absenteeism and presenteeism rates for truck drivers, warehouse workers, and executives.

Dr.Malmed was also a frequent consultant for several Equinox fitness clubs(pre-Covid).

Dr. Malmed uses 3 Foundations as his Cornerstones of Health:

• The Pelvis. He feels that if the Foundation of the pelvis is not properly stabilized, the spine above cannot be stable.
• The Feet. He feels that if the Foundation of the feet is not properly stabilized, the pelvis and the spine above cannot be stable. Dr. Malmed is the Chiropractic member of the Medical Board of Comfortfit Labs, one of the premier 3-D Custom Foot Orthotic Manufacturers in the U.S.
• The MOLECULAR Foundation. For the past 12 years, 5 in a hospital setting, Dr. Malmed has been utilizing Redox Signaling molecular replenishment with his patients, which he considers to be the most powerful cellular health and athletic product available today. He has been a member since 2015 of this biotechnology company’s MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS BOARD.  Recently he has also employed health and wellness solutions in the form of nanotechnology patches, utilizing photobiomodulation to improve cellular function.
